In a stunning development, scientists have discovered the long sought
after ‘missing link’, a transitional human form which firmly
establishes the theory of evolution as the only viable explanation for
the origin of man. The identity of the 36 year old ape-man, a native
of the Belgian Congo has not yet been released. Currently, a team of
scientists from the United States are involved in negotiations with
the Congolese government in an effort to obtain the specimen for
scientific study. Complicating matters is the fact that the ape-man
has not yet deceased, raising protests from several international
human rights groups. The United States delegation has argued that the
the ape-man should be moved to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba where any legal or
human-rights issues will be rendered moot.
